Brace yourself.
“I’m ready for my closeup, Mr. DeMeow.”

And duracuir, have you ever considered a run for governor of OK? I think I know a campaign manager who is available.

Sad to see a beached whale near my parents’ place in Atlantic Canada. 37 feet long and described as Adolescent. Dead. On a lighter note, our little kitty cat sitting like a human and trying to look like the avatar for @Vitezi

So tried DogTV and well, Gus gives his reaction as to their programming. I do not think he is terribly interested...

Out on the west coast somebody had a wise plan for dealing with a whale carcass.

Thank you! What a great story! Unbelievable really! And entertaining right until « the end! »

I have watched this several times, and I can't help but laugh every time usually to the point that my eyes water.

A walk to the largely unknown Bluebell wood near us yesterday.

And back to normal.

I was going through some old photos and found this blast-from-the-past. Three of the dogs were ours, but we were also dog-sitting a friend's Boxer.

If we let her, she would spend all day and all night snuggled in these pillows in the spare room...

My best walking buddy turned eight yesterday. Unfortunately this will most likely be his last. His poor heart is about to give out. The vet gave him about three months a month ago. Will just love him and make sure he is comfortable till the end.

He will be sitting beside St. Peter at the pearly gates, waiting for you to get there.

Finally think I have this tank sorted.
Long story short, we went away about six weeks ago for five days and left the sister in law to feed the fish. Because of the heat at this time of the year and the fact that we have two aquariums in the man cave which is on the top floor of our house we have ceiling fans installed to help cool them.
When we got home at about 11.00pm the smaller of the two aquariums was more like a pet cemetery, which I could smell as I walked in the front door downstairs. The fan had been turned off, multiple dead fish (which appeared to have been dead for days), mountains of food in the tank and the water was hot and white.
Unbelievably the big Angel fish and a number of others were still alive.
Emergency water change that night and a total tank overhaul the next day. For weeks any other fish I would introduce would die in a couple of days, now after numerous water changes and filter cleans all appear to be happy and healthy😀
The aquariums are a big part of the man cave and it was driving me nuts.

As you can see the aquariums are a big part of the room.

My partner and I each bring our dogs to the office on most days (at least we did, when we were still going to the office daily).

The poser at it again and I just noticed the eyes, checking to see if anyone is looking 😀
