11.5 yrs old, and he hasn't been feeling too well lately. Blood test results show he's in the early stages of kidney failure. He's staying at tye vet's for a few more days.

He was perkier & ate some food when dad visited today.

I’ve probably been spamming your alerts box today, hitting like on 10 pages of backlog as I’ve not been here in a while. By way of apology, here’s Primrose on a beautiful Autumn day in Kent. (She’s been poorly recently, managed to eat some grapes somehow which gave her a vomiting fit, then she caught kennel cough during her night in the hospital).

Sorry to hear that. I hope that he recovers and has more happy years. If the vet recommends subcutaneous fluids, don't be afraid to try it. It is not to bad to do at home.
