We find that rolling it up in a bit of minced beef does the trick.

The clamshell cushions...here's Maeve getting into hers:

She really loves this thing! She usually does a couple of circles under the cover before laying down...

Any dog experts care to take a stab at what mix Mike is

Sorry I don't follow 馃う the capsules are binned and it is only the powder that is sprinkled on the food and as it is so fine it usually is never discovered.

The boys seem to enjoy the motorhome travels,

As an aside if you ever travel through Deeside in Scotland I can recommend a stop at Ballater and in particular the old station, lovely home baking, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. etc.

I鈥檓 saying it鈥檚 tablets that are a problem. I try to get liquid meds which in most cases they have but my cat needs this cancer med that is only made for humans. I can鈥檛 force her to take them and if I grind them up and put them in food I guess she smells it and won鈥檛 touch it. I am a cat herder so I consider myself an expert on the subject, I鈥檒l withhold the facepalm

Never tried one myself, but I have a friend who told me she uses something called a "pill popper" for her cat, who needs to take pills multiple times each day, and got pretty finicky about it.

Thanks I鈥檒l look it up. She is about 19 now and has cancer. I give her shots and liquid medication. She probably doesn鈥檛 have a lot longer but she has had the big C for a year or so. TBH I really don鈥檛 like to force things on her but if there is an easier way to go about this I鈥檒l try it. Vet said there is a very slight chance the pills would help and the shots and liquid seem to be doing her well.

I apologise as the face palm was intended for myself, I can only hope that things work out well.

It can get expensive, but you can get the medication compounded. We have a human pharmacy in our town that can compound the medication for veterinary purposes. We got our dog's meds done up in a beef flavored solution. It was great, she loved it. Try asking your vet.
