But honestly, Maeve loves it, in particular now that the weather is a little cooler. Remi is usually hot, so not interested in this.
By the way although he didn't have any ill effects from eating the candy, my wife said she saw some rounds circles in his poop that were pink, so I'm guessing these...

路So, went to a meeting of a neighbourhood association last night for a couple of hours, and my wife had left the newly purchased Halloween candy on top of a cabinet. We came home to this:
Maeve was in her crate, but Remi was out, so he is the culprit. Thankfully no chocolate involved, and just a lot of sugar. He's doing fine so no harm done other than having to throw out a lot of candy, and honestly I had to chuckle. He's a cheeky boy, and we've never had him take things like this before, so it was a bit surprising.
..
I like how he left his Kong lying in the middle of it. Just picturing a joyful candy party.

I can see the logic in these beds as our boys always like to cover there heads while sleeping 馃憤

路Back on October 5th, I posted about a found kitty who Sandra and I were fostering until his dad, who lost the cat on his way to the train station, could make arrangements to retrieve him. After my Good Samaritan friend who found the cat passed me the dad鈥檚 cell number, I texted images of his now doing fine and very comfy kitty to the dad. His cell number indicated he was from out east. I somehow knew I鈥檇 never hear back from him. I mean, like, a guy from Manitoba was here in Vancouver and is leaving town by train for Edmonton. Not exactly the kind of stability any pet deserves. I now figure that a) he likely let the cat go, then b) had second thoughts about leaving his cat in a construction site, then c) asked my friend who happened to be sitting nearby to help find him which he did - the next day. I haven鈥檛 heard a peep from this deadbeat in 3 weeks. Thankfully.
We love this absolutely amazing cat who has been renamed Presto. Affectionate beyond words, playful, funny, and respectful of humans who like to sleep in (unbelievable), he is our cat now and we couldn鈥檛 be more pleased. Presto won the cat lottery, too. We suspect Tommy (my avatar) brought us all together as payment for 16 years of early morning deaf-cat bellowing for breakfast.
Clearly, Presto feels comfortable at his new home as modesty isn鈥檛 his strongest attribute.
We love this absolutely amazing cat who has been renamed Presto.
