    :rolleyes: both toys would be lucky to last 5 minutes at my place

    Rope Toy - Tilly, less than 1/2 hour from out of the bag.

    Took our boy Mac and let him off his leash to go down the rainbow trail for dogs yesterday. Mac was becoming increasingly restless and distressed. He couldn’t get comfortable to even lay on his pillows. We bought about a half a dozen to try to find the right one. He would sit up all night and day to find a position. At night he would pant and stare next to me. With this and his paralysis we let him go. Something was wrong, he is ok now.

    @The Father

    Very sorry to hear about Mac. Your decision was the final act of love you could do for him, but still one of the most difficult things to endure.

    You gave him a good life. It is always hard in the end, but it sounds like he was ready to move on to the next life.

    Sorry for your loss, having been there all to recently ourselves, it's not an easy thing to do, but it's the last gift we can give our furry friends, letting them go when the time has come. :(

    So sorry for your loss. We still feel the loss of Snickers from August 2016, and Cinder from April 2019. But they’re in a better pain free place.

    This girl has been doing so well with recall, I rewarded her with an off leash walk in the woods. She was a natural and stayed close without me having to ask. She is not quite 6 months old.

    Came across these old images a few days ago of my dearly departed Lab as a youngster with daughters many years ago. What an amazing dog she was and although by that time I had given up shooting I often took her out with dummies and she was a natural, almost made me look good :D

    So, went to a meeting of a neighbourhood association last night for a couple of hours, and my wife had left the newly purchased Halloween candy on top of a cabinet. We came home to this:

    Maeve was in her crate, but Remi was out, so he is the culprit. Thankfully no chocolate involved, and just a lot of sugar. He's doing fine so no harm done other than having to throw out a lot of candy, and honestly I had to chuckle. He's a cheeky boy, and we've never had him take things like this before, so it was a bit surprising.

    Maeve loves to be covered, so we got her a dog bed with a built-in cover...we call it the clamshell...

    She loves it...

    It appears that Remi only likes the red colored candy.
