If that’s what I think it is, our dogs have had too many run-ins with his type.
it's just a French cat

My son picked out a new kitten today, after his cat Cinder passed away in April and he couldn't live without one. Meet Neko (Japanese for cat). Born 3/13/19. (Ignore the Casio ProTrek Atomic Solar set it and forget it watch).

Turns out that the previous owner of our dog was probably not treating her well.

We are having chats with vet about the dog’s phobias (the previous owner did not mention anything).

Mixed feelings made of anger and pity towards this previous owner who (for unknown reasons) was treating such a fantastic animal so bad...

12 months ago today since Chunky passed.
These are my 2 favourite pictures of him.
The first pic trying his bow tie on to be ring bearer at my wedding and the second posing in the snow with my eldest daughter who had just turned 4 and Chunky was about 8.

In her element. Water and a stick, there’s nothing better (except food, obviously).

Or maybe snoring on the sofa, squeezed in as close to you as possible.

Harking back to the good old days when water was mostly in pools or beer, not constantly streaming out of the sky.
Stan not happy with the interlopers

My wife just sent me this. It was taken just after Prim rolled in poo, and she’s very pleased with herself.

I would have said that Stan looks pretty content in that photo. 😉

Ahhhh…… dogs and squirrels. My dog as a kid named Mutley, lived to chase squirrels. The squirrels lived to torment Mutley. We kept Mutley tied up out in the front yards at times to keep her from running off for days at a time to explore. Well anyway the squirrels would come just close enough so Mutley couldn't reach them. Did this all day, chattering away and making Mutley nuts. So one day I went out and took her off the line and told her to stay. Watched out the window for Mr. Squirrel to come down and tease Mutley. Told Mutley out the window to go get'em. The race was on. The squirrel got about half way up the tree and so did Mutley. Mutley got the squirrel and the squirrel bit her on the nose. If I remember, I think those two called a truce after that.

Last Sunday we took our two Whippets to participate in a local Great Global Greyhound Walk, which celebrates Greyhounds and other sighthounds. We had about 20 dogs in our walk, but worldwide nearly 9000 dogs participated...and their owners too.

Looks great fun 👍!

They make lovely pets and there’s many out there in rescue centres looking for good homes.

Lucy on the hunt for a treat the birds may have missed

We have a mother bird with a broken wing taking care of her two chicks. We leave delectable treats for the bird.
