Fortunate to have quite a number of hare in the surrounding fields, down side is the wee boy with his scenting abilities has to be on his leash otherwise he would be off in a flash.

And so nice and calm! The equivalent scenario in my house involves my Boxer repeatedly jumping 6 feet in the air.

My best walking buddy turned eight yesterday. Unfortunately this will most likely be his last. His poor heart is about to give out. The vet gave him about three months a month ago. Will just love him and make sure he is comfortable till the end.

Sorry. I hope he goes peacefully.

Friends of mine had a boxer that liked to wrestle with me -- and vice-versa. That was OK while we lived close by and I would be in jeans when I visited. After they moved several States away the next time I saw them I was still in a business suit from the day's (in?)activity on an exhibition stand and needed to wear it again the next day. Persuading a boxer that this is not a good time to wrestle is not easy 😬

Our Welsh Corgi puppy is 5 months old today. My wife was going to pay for half of a new speedmaster as a wedding gift, but our befriended corgi breeder (here in Sweden) had a litter of 13 puppies. We had been on a waiting list for a couple years and were not going to get one or the puppies, but my wife called and swayed the breeder into offering us one of the puppies.

"Corgi or speedmaster" ...

The decision was easy.

(I'll buy my own speedmaster next year)
