·I had a classic blue version like the one in the OP. Great watch. I gave it to my brother when I decided to buy the new no date version for myself. As much as I like the no date I can’t stop thinking about replacing the one I gave away. My justification is then I would have a ceramic and aluminum version. Talk about rationalization. The only thing that’s stopped me is I can’t decide between classic blue and seaweed green. The blue worked so well in every circumstance but the green is a great color. The vintage purists always want us to buy the older versions but the current generation SMP 300 is about as good as it gets IMO.
