··MWR Tech Support DeptThis is my mind raises many questions. I have informed the seller, wondering what others think.
Early 1950s dial/ handset (late 40s perhaps) on what AFAIK is a model mostly produced in the mid to late 1930s.
The fact it is sold as “oversized” and the rarity of such sizes of course increases incentives for creative restorations.
Without getting into details, the crown is also incorrect for the model.
And finally, the “Longines” signature might deserve closer scrutiny.
Thoughts anyone else?
Best regards
