@FFabian
Of course the 1861 has been used during spaceflight missions, it has been the Speedmaster most used in recent Soyuz flight to the ISS - International Space Station... very often worn over the left forearm of the Sokol spacesuit... and during spacewalks by Russian cosmonauts, strapped over the glove of their bulky one-piece Orlan MKS spacesuits... as recent as 18 November 2020 !

Is there any word on the 3861 being used yet?
😉
Used by Jeff Bezos & fellow crew-members during the first manned Blue Origin New Shepard N° 16 sub-orbital flight in July 2021
.
Let me call it first.
I noticed the what I thought were goldish colored watches on white straps during the recent Soyuz MS-16 launch last week wondering where the traditional Speedmasters were.
Is it possible these new Omega/Swatch watches are currently flying on the ISS and will be revealed by the crew on the 26th?

The mystery continues.
From Robert Pearlman at collectSPACE:
I asked my contact at Swatch about the watches worn by the Soyuz MS-21 crew and was told, "These are not the new Moonswatches."
The full Russian crew
Mala’s the first full-Russian crew in, what, 22 years (?) it would not surprise me to find the “new” watches being worn are Russian made.
And gold.
