·My local dealer will at the very least cover taxes, I would not hesitate to ask for 15-20% and would settle for the roughly 10% that should cover taxes.
I would think that a spouse that spends a few $$ on a present would be someone I would want to keep as a customer.

·It's fine to ask if there is a discount available, but your bargaining power may be limited since you are after one of the more popular references. Like any other retailer, the AD's don't have any need to discount the top sellers.
