Could be a relume, could be service replacements, but some of the earlier Monacos had hand lume that went blue-green so it could be that, though those are usually the straight-end Chronomatic and "Transitional" style hands. Lots of tritium from that era went greenish though so it doesn't raise red flags necessarily.

She arrived today.
Looks better than expected.
Can someone advise me how to release the crown to free the movement from the case?

This is the video I found showing movement freeing from case. The guy simply pulled off the crown.

I can’t easily do that with mine. Is there a step before that I missed?

I dunno, but the way he just placed the movement down on the table sent shivers up my spine. I dunno if I'd follow anything this guy does

Cannot help to release the crown, but watch looks good to me.
Have an early Monaco (SN 157.9xx) in my collection.
The different blue dial colour (if it is no transitional with other hands) depends on the light...

My 1133B has a C-number on the back (sold in CH) and was equipped with a Cal. 11i (two triangles under one lug).

Love these Monacos!

Nice Monaco's guys. I have an eye on this, but compared to yours it's more dark blue and the white subdials seems much more shiny, plus the numbers etc. more thick - can you experts tell if some of them came like that or is it a redail?

Sorry for the highjack, OP

Thank you.

I do not know, but is it possible, that there was humidity inside the watch?
The humidity perhaps nearly has washed the scales away and someone reprinted the scales?
The lume on hands look like they have seen humidity, too.

I'm not sure if it's the picture, but almost looks like the dial was refinished. the subs do not look crisp and clean.
the plots on the markers also seem to have been colour matched to the lume on the hands. it's rare that you'll see the monacos with full lume plots like this on the marker and with a green hue to them.

that’s a stunning piece. Can you show us the triangles under the lug that signify 11i?
I released the movement for inspection. Mine will go in for service soon. Last service 1999. It runs accurately while wearing, but only lasted 5hrs off wrist.

that’s a redone dial. Here’s a side by side. Fonts are different. There’s a “tail” on each of the 5 minutes marker on original dial. Good luck with your hunt.

Ya'll see that 1133B go on the block in Monaco earlier this week? I didn't study it closely, but it looked pretty from afar. Hammered at EUR 14k. With fees comes out to over USD 23k, so it must have had something going for it.

@jsducote do you have a link, or recall which auction house it was with ?

Believe it was Art Contact SARL. It was a very nice-looking Monaco with a 2ex NSA bracelet.

Thanks. I’d checked the usual Monaco suspects but hadn’t been able to find it. Described as NOS and looked very good indeed, so perhaps not surprising that it achieved a strong result.

Here it is, a very little triangle under one lug.
If I remember correctly, one was for caliber 11 and two for caliber 11i.
Heuer has swapped the movement of my early 1133B from caliber 11 to a caliber 12.
Think, it was in the 70s, if the first owner remembered correctly.

And here you can see the C-number.
It means, that this watch was sold in swiss:
