I took this great old Carrera in on trade a couple months ago, and while I’ve really enioyed this vintage Carrera while I’ve had it the early arrival of the 160th Anniversary LE means I need to move it on sooner than I expected! I thought that one would have been delayed until November or so at the earliest.

This 3647 has a 72xxx serial number, dating it most likely to 1966 or so. It has the large unsigned crown typical of the earlier models in this range. Beautiful dial with all original tritium lume (feel free to contact me for UV shots) and the case is in nice worn condition with the one exception of the mark at the 8 o’clock marker. While visible, it’s not very noticeable on the wrist but I wanted to point it out so it isn't a surprise.

The Valjoux 92 column wheel movement runs well, keeping time and chrono functions all work properly. The previous owner stated that it had been serviced by Abel Court in 2019, but I don’t have documentation to support that.

The watch is sold as you see here, on this green Analog/Shift strap. I’m asking US $3950 and can ship worldwide. I can accept a return at the buyer's cost within 3 days of receipt if the watch is significantly not as described, and is in the same condition as it was sent. The photos here are an important part of the description, so please ask any questions about it if you're interested!

I'm a wearer more so than a collector, so if I'm not wearing a watch I prefer to let it go on to someone who will enjoy it. I am not a dealer; I have recently been acquiring many new watches to rebuild my collection and am at the point where I need to make decisions about what will stay and what won't. I have made some sales here over the years and have feedback readily available in the Feedback section, so buy with confidence.

Please don’t hesitate to contact me about any other photos or information you’d like!

Would you consider parting it out? I am in need of a 3647 pusher. :whistling:

No bites yet -- you're going to have to part it out ;)

As a 3647S owner I think it is a nice example, and the price is comfortably inside today's ball-park. Vendor's reputation good too.

It's not glam, it's not bling, it is a very nice watch if you like watches that your neighbour Rolex owner gives a puzzled look at. He knows it's something special but doesn't know what. Guy's OK, just doesn't know much, nor sadly ask :(
