I acquired this a few years back. I have some doubts about whether it's real. Can anyone tell me definitively what I have here? Thanks!

Nothing immediately sticks out to me but a picture of the movement would tell pretty easily I think.

I think there are plenty of tells without a movement shot.

TBH the movement was the only thing that gave me any hope as to the validity of the piece. I traded a (cheap redacted) for it in (redacted war zone)... so there's no butthurt over it at all lol. Just curious, now that I spent the time to get on this forum, what is so godawful about it that screams fake btw?

Dial and case back are really bad
I thought so. But like I said, I've never seen even a Tag or other contemporary watch with a movement as smooth as this, coupling that with the Auto movement had me kind of confused. A good story at the least. And even a fake, probably worth more than the cheap ass timex I traded for it haha

Since it was pretty obviously a fake (thank y'all), Cracked it open to see what was in there. Here's what they're making and passing off for the real thing!

Common Chinese automatic movement. Not a real chronograph. The pushers simply advance the sub dials. It is amazing that it's still running. You must have kept it away from water and never dropped it.
