You show everything but the important parts for determining authenticity...which is strange if that is what you are seeking.

Let's see the inside of the case back, and the serial number on the back of the lug...

It’s not strange when you don’t know anything about watches. I thought an expert could tell straight away but that obviously isn’t the case.

So you are not actually interest in the answer? If more photos are too much trouble if you list the serial number that's a good start.

Couple of things stick out to me that don't look right. I'd put good money on 'fake'. But I suspect OP knows that.

That's either massively over polished or a very shoddy replica.

Is it just me or are the engraving a bit shallow?

Nah, could just be wear and polishing

I got it from a charity shop so took a risk. There’s not much else to add really. I see no serial number but here’s a few more pictures. Thanks all.

Is there a particular reason why you are not showing the inside of the caseback? You ask for absolute confirmation yet withhold some of the most pertinent info. Strange!

ps my money is on not legit. I've seen a couple of things that are red flags.

Not legit. Got it. The reason I haven’t taken a picture is because there’s nothing to see!! Strange as you would say…

::facepalm1::

If you had said that at post 1 you wouldn't have wasted everyone's time would you? No inner marks is the biggest red flag of all.

Not strange. If you had shown that (inside caseback) the immediate reaction would have been counterfeit.
However, the horrendous Hippocampus rendering on the caseback, as well as the Planet Ocean etc engraving that looks like it was done by a drunk monkey with a dental drill was enough to tell many of us what it was.

We often get people asking about various watches, and we often provide helpful responses.

If we have full disclosure, and decent photos, we can quickly settle any questions, rather than play at guessing games.

So you bought an empty case and bracelet? Or was there more to it?

All the signs initially pointed to it being a fake, but without a serial number or any writing inside the case back, that pretty much seals it.

Charity shop = 99.9999% chance that it's fake without looking at anything.

Wow. You really are a helpful bunch.
Let me help you. It's fake. Cheap in every way.
