Hello everyone!
I need some help identifying this watch.
Is it real/fake? What is it called and how old is it?

It was a gift from my grandfather to my mother on her wedding day, so I know it must be at least, 25 years old.

Any additional information would be of great help.

There look to be hallmarks on the back of the case, but too hard to read. Swiss ones on watch cases that are 750 are usually the bust of the Helvetia Woman.

The clasp seems to say 750, which could translate to 18 carat, but I don't know what the two triangles in the rectangle mean. Could by the maker, could be the assayer. Best to take to a jewellers to verify the metals. As for the watch, you'll probably only know if you open the back and look at the movement.

I'm sorry, but I can't tell you what you have there. At least I can say that I think it doesn't look fake.

I'm convinced a lot of members here can answer your question if you take yourself some time, but if it's really urgent, maybe the best advise would be to go to an OMEGA certified jeweller or watchmaker and let them tell you more about this one.

I think I can see a french 18k gold hallmark on the case back. Does your family have a connection to France?
As said above the bracelet is likely 18k too.

Get a jewellers to take the case back off and take a photo of the inside caseback and the movement.
Omega made thousands of ladies cocktail watches in jewellery style over the years so it may be hard to find one similar.
Pictures inside may give a year it was made.
It will be valued at gold content mainly as these are not overly collectable like men’s watches.

Thank you! I’ll try to find reputable jeweler in my area to look at it.

I just found this picture in Omega - A Journey Through Time.
Different dial version but maybe good for further reference.

As is sometimes the practice with these, the case number is written on the clasp. Looks like 891.0286 maybe?
