Grandfathers watch. Was sent to Omega for repair (2010s). Person that sent it - not alive. Nothing on the back. What do I have here. Yes strap is a fake.

Appreciate your time and help.

You’d need to have the caseback removed to confirm the reference number on the inside.
Unfortunately dial has been refinished but looks like the case may be solid gold.
Nice heirloom.

If you had to guess. Can I get a range?

Range for value or guess at the reference?

Value will depend on the case material as the refinished dial means the gold content is likely to exceed the collector value.
I couldn’t guess on the reference. Maybe someone else will be able to ID it or you’d have to find others with the same case (the reference is a case ref, independent of the dial)

Based on case. Bumper. Maybe 28.10

Do you feel any bumping when turning watch in hand?

Search EBay's completed auctions using Omega 28.10 as a guide. Look at gold filled and 14kt gold and compare condition
