·Hi everyone,
I am looking at pulling the trigger on the following watch as a treat to myself for my 40th but can't tell if it is original.
The seller indicates that the individual he bought it from assured him that it was all original but I would appreciate your thoughts. I can't tell if it is a redial and whether the indices have been re-lumed. The 11 o'clock index looks a little off in the 3rd pic. Also, I have not come across any vintage steel oysterdates that have a gold shield on the dial.
Anything else I should be concerned about? Lugs? Polishing? Scratches? The ask price is about $900US.
