    Hi all,

Just been offered this piece but I don't know much about Tudor - have done a bit of research but thought I'd ask for help here:

    1. Are all parts factory original or franken watch with authentic Tudor parts?

    2. Does the movement match the dial?

    3. The crown might be a replacement as it should be silver rather than gold/bronze (colour wise, not material)?

    4. I've found similar watches using the ref on the caseback but have not found an exact match - is there any resource I can use?

    Thanks for the help!

i'm not up on the English cased watches but I don't see any problems with the dennison cased example you have. the dial might be a different story and could be an old repaint? crown-wise it's old so to be expected that would have been replaced.

    Hi @janice&fred

Many thanks for replying - can I ask why the dial could have been repainted? What signs should I be looking at?

    Cheers!

I put a question mark in my remark as i'm not sure, but to me the rose logo is a bit weak but I could be wrong since this is a dress model and not an oyster. no doubt some experts will chime in to give you that info
