Hi everyone!
I was wondering if these omega look like the real thing?
I will check serial numbers of course, but how about the other parts like the dial, hands, etc?
https://watchempire.ie/shop/gentlemen-watches/vintage-omega-seamaster-calendar-2/
https://watchempire.ie/shop/gentlemen-watches/omega-geneve-watch/

I will check it out in person tomorrow...im really motivated to buy!
If you know this seller it would also be a great reference.
Have a great day! 😀

If you like a bad redial with strange hands and a beaten up case : Go for it.
Search for a real one and deduct 60% for this one here.

Here are the two watches in question (it’s better to post pictures rather than links). The Seamaster is a redial with very incorrect hands that is terribly overpriced. The Geneve is overpriced. Do your research here on OF before you make a purchase you’ll regret.

To save other viewers the need to look them up, the Seamaster is priced at €1350 and the Geneve at €1100.

As has been said above, the Seamaster is a poor redial on an awful strap and, like the Geneve, is way overpriced!

You should be able to find a nice Seamaster for under €750 and a similar Geneve for under €500?

eBay is fine - for price and range - but post the link and photos here (new thread each time) before you bid and buy.

Also follow this thread https://omegaforums.net/threads/recommended-vintage-omega-watches-only-on-ebay-not-for-inquiries.on OF and also keep looking on the OF Private Sales thread

Is it a message only for me?

Anyone reading this thread. I thought @jomegas sounded a little discouraged in his last post 😀

I think you will do better buying from the Private Sales listings even if you have to pay customs duty.
