I was hoping to get some information on this LeCoultre that belonged to my father. The case is a bit more than 27mm square and a little more than 7mm thick. It was just services and is in good running order. The movement is marked K480/CW. Thanks in advance!

The serial number is hard to read, but if it says 1.6M, then I think it would be mid-1960s.

Any information really since I know nothing about it and very little about the brand. Approximate year and model would be nice for a start. If I decide to sell it I'd be interested to know it's level of collectability and some idea as to value. Thanks!

Yes, not a great photo of the movement - I hope to get a better one. Serial number is 1669012. From my memory of him wearing it, early to mid-60's would make sense.

As noted on the watch, it was an imported movement, cased in the US. No particular model name. This style of watch is unfortunately not particularly desired at present.

It probably had a model name. Only way to find out is to find a vintage advertisement with the watch.

The movement is a cal. K480CW.

This was Jaeger-LeCoultre’s workhorse movement. It has a great sound when you are winding it.

The style is very 1950’s dressy, not in vogue today. There is some value in the gold and diamonds. Some more in the movement. You would need to consult a jeweler for more information.
