HELP WITH THIS EXAMPLE

A friend of mine recently inherited this watch.

I would appreciate your comments on whether you feel the dial is refinished.

She doesn't have the ability to remove the back at the present time.

Any other comments on this example based on the photos presented would be appreciated.

I think the dial is original on this one. The style screams early 1960's to me.

I really can't tell you too much more than this.

Thanks for the response. I normally wouldn't ask for comments based on such photos but thought these might just pass for borderline acceptable.

Many ladies’ watches from the 60s and 70s had really funky designs, it’s a shame many contemporary designs are so boring. The dial looks good to me, the ‘Milky Way’ finish would possibly have led to a redial at some stage in its history, but it’s still there so I call original.

Thank you. I thought the same thing concerning the condition of the dial that seemed to have been left as is.
