Hi all, I am not yet experienced enough to judge on this watch from an reputated jeweller in Italy.
No extract, serial 27xxx, caseback and bezel fit together as far as I can see with the topics here.

I am unsure regarding lume and other factors that could be relevant. According to the dealer not relumed. What do you think about the black datewheel and the cyclope magnifier? I have read discussions about it, so suppose it’s up on my own to believe if that was ever used officially or not

how would you value such a watch?

thanks for all your input!

Have you compared your dial and watch features to all the ones on Google &ebay& other watches like it online?

post the ones that match yours here and tell us your evaluation and insight.

I like to learn, too

Thanks, for me the main question besides the missing extract is, if the applied lume seems to be original to the experts or not. I know that missing pinholes are not a relevant criteria to say a dial is relumed. I compared many pics and also saw excellent originals in another thread I had a while ago for a SM300 which was relumed. But even for real experts that is not easy to see.

so what would be interesting is if there are clear signs that indicate that the line is not original or not.

From those pictures (viewed on my phone) the lume looks good to me. I like both the texture and colour

I see you point. I think the discriminant would be if it is old tritium or a masterfully applied Luminova based luminous paste.

A- in the dark, old tritium flashed with daylight only goes for couple of minutes, SL much longer. Is not a question of intensity, but duration
B- would have been reassured to see some dirt on the hands, in the crevice between metal and paste.

Bezel is very nice, crown is later furniture, caseback and movement good (extract?).

Have heard of crystals with the cyclop, I would change it with one without

I don't like this dial...
Bonsoir docteur, I suppose you mean not the BT date dial of the 166.024 in general. What is your reason here as an expert... that I possibly didn’t see?
