·Hi all,
As some of you may know, I'm looking to get a steel Seamaster, I particularly like the 60's versions. I have found the one below. However before I go for it and make an offer, I'd like your opinions on it.
Firstly, the dial picture is not the best. However, from what I can research it seems correct. The font looks correct and I think I can make out the serifs which are usually not present on a redial, as they are hard to do. Broken crosshairs are not unheard of with this generation of Seamasters/geneves, so all in all, I think the dial is in good condition.
The overall condition of the watch looks good, which is a good sign.
movement from my untrained eye looks clean, but this is where I am at my weakest. The crown seems correct for this model, as I have seen it on good examples here on OF.
Please let me know if you spot anything that could be suspect.
