Help with part numbers for Omega 135.019!

Hi everyone!

I purchased an Omega Ref. 135.019. There is no DeVille / Semaster / Genève writing on the dial so I'm not sure about which model it is yet. What I know is that it has the Seamaster logo on the back (although it doesn't mean much since Genève and DeVille models can also have Seamaster cases) and that it is a front loader with "Tool 106" written on the back case.

The problem I have is that I am missing the center seconds hand and the crystal. I would like to replace them with original parts but I don't know the part numbers and I'm having a hard time finding them between all the models. Could some of you give me a hand?

Cheers!

Without a photo of the dial, and knowing the material of the case, we can't help you...

Thank you very much Archer! Do you know if it is a DeVille, Semaster or Genève model? Also, do you happen to know if this model has a split stem?

I see some with this case are DeVille's, but they usually have that printed on the dial.

Yes, it is a front loader so will use a split stem. The crown portion is 081ST9992, and the part in the movement is one of two options...

72206001149 - 9.49 mm long

72206001160 - 10.59 mm long

Hey Archer! I have a question that you (or maybe someone else) might be able to help me with. I was trying to open the watch to assess the movement. I deatached the split stem and then I turned slightly the dial and put it upside down expecting that it would come out, but it didn’t. Looking closely, I think I’m seeing part of the crystal still attached to the watch (see pictures) but this would be really odd so I am not sure about it. Seems like someone cut it??

Anyway, if that is the remaining of the crystal and assuming I have to take it out in order for the dial & movement to come out as well, how do recommend me to do this?

Cheers!

Yes, the crystal and tension ring need to come out. When they are broken off like this, they aren't easy to remove...you can carefully try to lift it if it's loose enough to do so. I had one not long ago that was so tight it couldn't be lifted, and there wasn't anything to grip. I ended up using a small pivot drill by hand, and drilled through the tension ring, which allowed the remainder of the crystal and ring to be lifted out once the tension was removed.

Thank you!! Why would someone cut the glass like this??

I also saw a video where Mark Lovic removed the cristal of an Omega Dynamic by popping it out using pressurized air through the case tube where the stem is inserted (
). Do you think this could work with the cut crystal? I’m saying this because, despite the dial is far from perfect, I’m afraid to scratch it.
