Here's an idea. Contact one of the MANY MANY reputable dealers here on OF for a SMPO 9300 and purchase from one of them. Price may not be as good but thats better than getting taken for $4500 on ebay.

Thanks for time all. You've made my mind up, it's not worth the effort.

I hope you mean, "Its not worth the effort" to buy the uncertain SMPO on Ebay because I assure you buying the right Omega is MORE than worth the effort 馃槤

If you want a laugh, take a look at the eBay listing now. I've been outbid by someone with zero feedback!

$4300 for a watch and the photos are all but useless.....I don't even understand how people take such bad photos these days.

The Ebay zero feedback dude won it! I can feel a re list on the way, or a paypal scam.

Hi, I am new here, this has probably been covered a hundred times, but here goes. I have just sold my Planet Ocean and am looking to upgrade now. I have seen the one i want, it is listed (ebay) as brand new, and has all the acetate still in place over front and back. I asked for photos of the cards, warranty and Chrono etc. All that appear available are the pictograms and the warranty card. On the warranty card, the watch number appears but no sign of a jeweller name and it is not dated either. The seller tells me he bought the watch from a family member. Any advice on here would be great, I love the watch but the card situation doesn't add up?
