·hello everyone,
I have a 2914-3 and the original crown was polished down to where you can barely make out the Y logo in the center and it bothered me so I bought a naiad crown off eBay assuming it would fit. I brought it to my watchmaker to swap and he said that the tap size is too small to fit the stem, then I started thinking about it and the 2913, 2914 and 2915 all have different movements so that makes perfect sense. However why is it commonly advertised that they are all the same crown? So now I have a crown for what I think is a 2913 but I'm not really sure but I'm scared to buy another crown for my railmaster since it might be a waste of time and money again. I mean I'm sure someone out there needs a crown for their 2913 but it's still a hassle. Can anyone clarify the tap sizes for each crown or have any other distinct differences between the 3 crowns just so I know going forward?
Thank you in advance!
