Help with IDing a vintage Seamaster?

Spotted for sale on Ebay for £499. Looks like it says "Seamster Quartz" on the dial. Listing description just has "Great vintage condition. General signs of wear. Very light scratches to glass." Approx 38mm case I think.

Is it a good buy? Feels a bit overpriced but I'm not 100% sure.

Yes.

1342 can be a tricky movement. They are mostly mechanical with a fairly large stepper motor, which often fails. They have a lot of magnets in
them used for setting time. Setting time can be tricky. They need to be cleaned often like a mechanical watch, which risks damaging the elecronics.

Many of these were service award watches. Often gold filled which is not too popular.

I do have a Stainless C cased connie, which can be a bit of fun. This example is much more pedestian.
