Love this particular vintage omega, but I don't have the skillset to know what is original and what is NOS etc.
Can I ask the experts here for some help. the seller is very reputable but can't offer any type of documentation of parts. apparently this is NOS and a mix of vintage. I know it is a bit of a franken watch but if everything is actually Omega parts I'm ok with that. Any thoughts?

Believe it’s a Watchco based on the extra 0 in reference on caseback and condition

I don't think the seller is correct in stating it has a vintage dial and hands. It looks to me like modern service parts that have been relumed to look vintage

This wasn't mentioned by the OP, do you have the link to the offer?

great observation regarding the lume. That is probably exactly what was done. It gives me pause, I know that the flavor of the day is to add vintage lume, but not sure that is ok in this case.

I built this years ago with an original vintage 166.024 case and movement with Watchco sourced bezel, dial and hand set.

That is for sure one of the reissue cases.

Nothing about the op watch appears vintage or nos. It’s simply new/service parts

Looks like a complete fake to me, except the movement.

Did something change in the last 10 years where a pointed “A” in waterproof instead of flat is not 100% proof of a fake? I know service casebacks have an A not as flat-top as original, but it’s not as pointed as this one.

My guess is this is a build from service parts, dial hands relumed, matt finish service movement... I know abou 2 iterations of original service casebacks with sharp A. This one and the lastes service cases Omega sells since 2019.

interesting. Surprising that Omega switched their service casebacks to match old fakes.

Here is my vintage one see the round corners in the date window. New service dials have square corners on the date window how you can tell. Know the seller from another forum he is honest if the ad has rebuilt with NOS Omega parts and relumed, then you already know what you're getting.

You mean the extra '3' rather than '0'
