Help with ID/Ref number

Hello all! First post, so here goes...

The reason I came here; My dad passed away and in a box in his desk was an old Omega with a rectangular shape. It is imprinted with "14k gold filled" on the casebook.

Any help with identifying the reference/model and what movement may be in the watch would be greatly appreciated!

We would be able to give you more definitive information if you have the watch opened and post photos of the inside, clearly showing any numbers on the movement and inside the case.

I would love to open the caseback.

However, I have no idea how to do that. I tried with a small flathead and it would not open easily, and I am afraid to use too much force and cause damage.

Perhaps I can find a watchmaker that can open up the caseback.
