Yes, although this particular watch doesn't indicate it on the dial, I think it is actually a Seamaster, reference 2832. Gold capped, approximately 1955. Value will depend on condition, and it looks like the dial (which is the first thing you see) may have some damage.

You can get a sense of value by looking at sales on eBay and in the sales listings on the forum. Look for sales of stainless and gold-capped Seamasters from this era (without bracelets), and you will be able to figure an approximately range. Yours will not be at the top of the range, but you will probably get a sense of relative condition as you look.

Hour and minute hands also incorrect for this dial.
