Is the column wheel missing a tooth?
At first I thought it was only the light, but after further examination, I think I agree with you...

I would note that none of these things "invalidate" the watch or suggest that you should just offload it to the first willing buyer. It is very difficult to find a watch of this vintage that's been cared-for to today's standards. It simply wasn't done in the past.

I took a look at a few other photos I have from when it was last opened. It certainly looks like part of it is missing. Thanks for pointing it out! How major of a replacement is that? Is there still stock available?
