Looks like an early datejust 1601 "pie pan".

Yep as Dan mentioned I also don't think there is a special or unique name for this dial aside from your answer. Looks like a typical pie pan style dial that came on the acrylic non-quick datejusts.

IMO Vertically brushed pie pan. Color can be described as grey or rhodium perhaps. .

I think you best described it. This vertical brush was not commonly used and can be very attractive and unique, especially in person. I had the same style on one of my 1013s. And the only one I have seen until this one here, now.

Yes, vertically brushed, but that's just a generic description, not the name of the specific style, e.g. doorstop, fat-boy, Buckley, etc.
