Cal. 505 Help with Horia pusher stuck in rotor bushing

Hello,

I'm attempting to replace the rotor bushing on my cal. 505 rotor, but seems like I used a pusher that was a bit too small and it got stuck inside the bushing instead of pushing it out. I then proceeded to try and tap the pusher out, and bent the bottom side.

Anyone have ideas for how to remove the pusher without doing more damage? I was thinking of cutting off the top (the bigger side) and pushing the broken piece out, or maybe soaking in alum to dissolve the steel. Would using alum be safe on the rotor?

Very annoyed at myself but it is what it is. Thanks for any help or ideas.

Tough one - unless you can straighten it, there's not much else to do.

Thanks, lesson learned I guess. Just for reference next time, I need a pusher that fits on this inside part circled, right? Which size pusher do you use for these? Appreciate your help.

Well, after probably hours of work I ended up getting the pinion replaced successfully, albeit with some scratches on the rotor.

Ended up sawing off the top of the pusher, and using the correct 100 size pusher to remove the pinion with the broken part left inside.

Then spent more time reaming the pinion to fit by hand, but the rotor rubbing seems fixed now! Thank you Archer for your help.
