Help with deciding on a vintage seamaster

I don't think it's a redial. I've bought several watches from Closer and they've all been 100% as described and authentic. The watch in question doesn't have the typical "high gloss" finish that you see in modern redials and the fonts and markers look quite clean.

That case is polished as hell, $900 is rich for that. I think they key to buying vintage is to play the long game and don’t let impulsive tendencies get a hold of you. Play it long, play it safe, and make sure you get a watch that you like for the right price.
