Help With Cal 600 Omega

Greetings,

I’m considering a vintage Omega advertised to contain the Cal. 600 movement. The watch seems to be in good condition with original parts, but I wanted to get an expert opinion before committing. The seller says the watch is 37mm including crown, which is consistent with my research of similar models.

That is a pretty poor example of a pretty run of the mill Omega. The plate wear would be a red flag for me since there is no easy way to improve on it. It would need to be very cheap indeed for me to show interest, like ~£100 or less. If it needs a service, and it likely will, you would never see your money back on it even at that minimal outlay after adding that cost in.
