Hi all dear forum, I would like to get help from your expertise in assessing this watch: https://www.subito.it/abbigliamento-accessori/omega-honeycomb-oversize-roma-253597444.html Does it look right to you? I couldn't really find one like this online. Thank you a lot!
Please post large format pictures. I went to the link, & couldn't find a pic big enough to work anything out.
Watch looks legit, but expensive. These models frequently show up on eBay, at that price you should be able to get a decent-looking dial.
It's odd. The minute hand has no cavity for lume, but the hour hand does. The dial is unattractive, not sure how it got this way.
Hey that’s interesting... seems to be an original version of a stinky redial I bought right at the start of my collecting. Since asking around I had thought the double arrowhead markers weren’t original, but at least it seems all the dial furniture might be right. https://omegaforums.net/threads/ome...-correct-dial-and-hand-set.39199/#post-455345
Thank you all for the interesting answers! What would you say it’s a fair price for that? I have to say I like the honeycomb and the arrow heads but am open for opinions
$100 for the movt.? I'm just not interested in looking at that dial 20 times a day. If you like it, you have to find your own way of valuing it.
Yes exactly, the hands and the movement, which I couldn’t find in this model online. But I am not in any way an expert, and the vintage market is somehow overwhelming!
Well, that's an interesting point. It's hard to read the reference, but I believe it's a ref 2505, which should come with cal 265/266 (not cal 267) according to the OVD. This is a jumbo reference (38mm) by the way. Is that how you read the reference number in the case-back? https://www.omegawatches.com/watch-omega-other-omega-ck-2505
