Hi all,

I'd like to try buying a watch now in auction on the american ebay.
At the moment I can't bid from Europe and apparently the seller cannot manage to change the preferences in order to allow me to bid.
It goes off in something less than 2 days.
So, I'm looking for a nice member from the US who is generously willing to help me out.
If there is someone available, please send me a PM.
Thanks in advance!
Alessandro

Maybe relisting it with updated locations would be best? Otherwise you do shipping twice no?

I proposed that to the seller, but he already got some offers and doesn't want to relist. Fair enough. Thanks anyway 馃榾

Maybe share the approximate value of the watch? If it's expensive, then insurance might be problematic. (I think USPS priority international only has $200 insurance.) There may also be import duties to worry about.

Auction could go up to 1000-1200 USD, I guess.

I鈥檝e used Forward2me to ship a watch from the US to UK for the exact same reasons. I鈥檝e only used them once but had no issues.

I got an american address by registering with them and now ebay allows me to participate in the auction, so I'd say problem solved.
Thanks a lot for your help 馃榾
