help with a T17

hi there, just been looking at the thread about the T17 cal after having come across, what i think to be, a very nice sample on ebay. i think it looks like its in good condition despite the chips on the dial, but i’m not sure if the crown is original?
hope someone can help me out

Very nice, yes. The crown has the correct diameter. But it should not have that step..... Which would not worry me at all...... Kind regards. Achim

You need more info. Realistic sales price for a good dial: around 8-900. This dial: 550. The mvmt. seems to have a problem. The little funny shaped wheel, that blocks the mainspring from snapping back during winding seems strange. And even more , that dial might not have dial feet.... See the black glue piece between dial and movement. If so, 400 rather more accurate because of a service..... Kind regards. Achim

yes i think the click spring is a little out of place, thanks for pointing out the glue i shall ask the seller about this.
also are you talking dollars or pounds?

just wondering what the case ref it for this model? found the thread with all the old adverts for the T17 (linked below) and they’re all listed with a 3 digit case ref. just wondering if it’s part of this number on the case back
