Hello, I'm looking at a vintage Omega and hoping the more knowledgeable can weigh in. Meant to be all original aside from bracelet.

    Thanks in advance.

The 29.6M serial range is known to be a batch that produced a number of tropical dials, so that's fine but I'm not sure the hour & minute hands' lume matches very well. Still, the dial is most important here, so if you like it and the price isn't ridiculous, you're probably fine here

This isn’t tropical to me. My opinion. I would treat this as a regular 69. It doesn’t have that tropical that people pay premium for where I would call it tropical. Still a nice dial though. Good luck.

In certain lighting it has a definite "not-black" hue but I'll be the first to tell you that it's not a tropical dial. Not yet, anyway. Maybe not even in my lifetime.

Wouldn't call that tropical as well... but a nice watch anyways... I just wouldn't pay "tropical" prices... :)

Thanks. What do you think a reasonable price range may be for this watch?

Looks nice. Case is sharp. Bezel is good. Hands appear unmolested. Definitely not tropical, nor chocolate, not even dark brown, so don’t pay a premium.

Even if the dial isn't tropical, the watch looks pretty decent especially with the DON.

Good luck and let us know what you do in the end.

I'm completly with you on that, is see so many Watch that are advertise as Tropical and are so light brown that you can barely see it or are damaged dial.
I found one that is no doubt tropical but need to work on the seller.

    BTW, your watch is stunning!!!!
