Killwolf
·Hello all,
I’m seeking your expertise on a Speedmaster I’m currently examining.
The watch exhibits numerous traits of a 105.012-66 CB—including the case with its distinctive flat lug facets, the stepped dial, flat pushers, correct hands, and a Cal. 321 movement (serial 24.96x.xxx). All indicators suggest it started life as a 105.012. However, the case-back—bearing the CB hallmark—has been re-stamped as 145.012 SP, with the original reference removed.
I’m trying to understand the significance of the CB stamp and what it represents.
Any insights or thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!
