HELP to identify this Vintage Omega Seamaster Cal 501 Two tone dial

Hey guys,

My friend bought an Omega Seamaster Cal 501 two tone dial and the case was gold top.

here the pict..

But I was curious is it all the parts (Hands) is original?

It looks to have lume cut outs in the hour markers, therefore you can safely assume it started life with lumed hands too.

Its an late 1950s Seamaster in jumbo size (36mm), often called fat lugs / beefy lugs due to its thich lugs even though the smaller version (34mm) has even thicker and beveled lugs.

Gold cap, don’t think the crown is original to the model. At least the smaller version should have the ”clower crown”.

As mentioned above the dial Probably had lume originally and if so the hands should have had lume aswell.

I think the seconds hand is a non-Omega replacement

...None of you guys wonder about the full rotor 501 movement in a case with a screw-down back? 😕

Didn't look further than the wrong hands TBH....I don't like to do too much work!

Yep shes a frakenweenie. Should be a bumper movement or manual wind in that case.
