Hello OF members
I am dipping my toe to the modern Speedmaster world. So far I collect vintage Omegas. Now I am interested in purchasing locally this Speedmaster.
I would want to ID the ref (58m serial on case back). Please tell me if this is ‘reduced’ Speedy or something else…
Thanks

Is this it!
OMEGA SPEEDMASTER DATE REF. 35135000
Thank you @mountainunder for quick reply and info.

It seems the watch is a front loader design isn't it?
To the owners of that ref could you please share your thoughts regarding assessment of the piece, especially what too look at when I see the watch in flesh (antireflection coating, rotor rubbing, etc ...) Is this caliber reliable? What about service cost?
Thank you in advance.

It’s not a front loader. You need a case knife to open.

it’s a 7750 movement.

I don't have this watch so it won't help much...Sorry...
But I think this thread is helpful.

If tritium is not used, why not just get a complete service from Omega? If it's not an Omega, a good watchmaker will have no problem with it.
Do you care about accessories?
Since synthetic leather is used for the accessories (box, card case), there are many accessories whose synthetic leather has been hydrolyzed over time and the synthetic leather is falling apart. Please be careful.

Thank you for advice.
Met with seller on this Friday but I eventually declined the offer because I don't really love wearing it.

I'm sorry I couldn't give you better advice.
Don’t take it as an offense but design on speedies is not sufficiently legible to my old eyes 😀
