I’m trying to confirm whether the setting lever spring (ressort tirette) from a Felsa 700 movement is compatible with a Felsa 711.
During my search for parts, a watch parts dealer told me that the spring from the Felsa 700 could be used in a 711. However, I have doubts about this, since I read that the Felsa 700 is a smaller movement, and I’m not sure if that affects the compatibility of the setting lever spring.
I’m not a watchmaker or a specialist, so I’d really appreciate any insight from someone more knowledgeable. Has anyone here ever tried this substitution, or does anyone have technical specs to confirm or refute this claim?
P.S. I’m currently looking for a setting lever spring for a Felsa 711 (used in my Breitling Unitime 2410). If anyone has one available or knows where I could source one, please feel free to message me. I know this kind of request belongs in the WTB section, but I don’t yet have posting rights there - even though I’ve been reading the forum daily since 2021 and have already purchased from members in the past (I just haven’t posted anything yet).
