Hi all
I am interested in 'buying this omega ck 3516. I am not familiar with this reference and would like some opinions regarding the authenticity of the dial and the fair purchase value. I thank in advance those who will participate in the discussion.

I'm thinking redial, It just doesn't look proportional compared to other versions of this watch I have seen on this forum.

IMO dial is original but the movement needs replacement of ratchet and crown wheel.

In my opinion you are too harsh on a clock that is almost 100 years old. I would be really concerned if it was in perfect condition. Aside from the usual opinions about the redial( is there always someone who cries redial???) Can anyone give an opinion on a possible price? Thank you

You asked for opinions and you got them, do with the what you like.

It clearly needs a service.

Three parts can be replaced to make the movement a lot nicer. Click, ratchet wheel and crown wheel

Needs a service as it’s running slow

I won’t comment on the dial unless I can see the actual dial out of the case and I only call redial if edge is marked with an indent.

price. Check eBay’s completed auctions and compare dial condition to similar models. Not a rare case design and shows up often enough on .eBay

I thank you for the comprehensive answer. I share with you the difficulty of evaluating a dial from a simple photo although I would evaluate this one in particular as original. Is a fair price above or below 600€?

What does it mean?
You’re already an expert and we didn’t know that so have to make sure the opinions match your expert opinion…

Dial is fine. The teeth in the wheels seem worn, might be a problem in the future. It's a smaller case version ; without additional pictures so far below € 600.
