Hi everyone! New here. Am looking for a pie pan Constellation that I can wear on a regular basis. I am OK with a bit of polishing, but would like all accurate parts as far as possible. No redials.

I'm reading OF and Desmond's amazing amazing site. But I don't know if my judgement is accurate enough so would like to check with you all.

Seeking your views please on this Pie Pan Constellation please.

Seller says it's:
- Ref. 2852 8SC
- Caliber 505
- original crown

1. How badly polished does the case look?
2. How worn does the movement look to you?
3. How do I tell if the crown really is accurate?
4. Do I need to be concerned about corrosion on the hands?
5. What have I missed?

Asking USD 1,400. It seems high to me, but I'm new to this and would appreciate any comments on what pricing I should be looking at please.

Looking forward to learning from all of you. Please feel free to let me know what you think. Hope I didn't offend either. Thank you in advance.

If sellers can take pictures, they can take pictures that actually help buyers decide.

Pictures in sunlight, focused, high resolution and face on direct will help us help you.

Thanks TexOmega. Will update if I can get better pics. (I guess if I can't that means I should move on.)

I like donating $1400 to better charities than a watch dealer who knows exactly what they are needing to hide to get a sale.

The case is pretty nice but the dial is just too far gone for me, and I agree, at the minimum, straight on photos are needed as well as a closer look at the crown.

Price could be okay if you value a mint example at $2000+.

The case doesn't look overpolished, if it was even polished. Edges still appear sharp. I don't mind some rusting on the hands and tarnishing on the dial, but it's a personal thing. The crystal seems to have the original omega etching in the center too. Quite a nice find!
