Are you saying you have the full movement plus additional extra/ replacement movement parts? Or that the movement is currently disassembled? If the latter, you'll need someone to look through and figure out if all the parts are there.

For £1200gbp I think you are already ahead of the game. The case, dial and bezel are probably worth more than that, if you were to part it out.

EDIT" Just saw 'tub of parts'. You will need to know if anything hard-to-source is missing.

He is pretty much even on the bracelet alone.

Hi it looks like parts of the movement have been disassembled also I few new omega parts in packets. also not forgetting it has the bracelet 1039 with end links. If I can get the movement rebuilt and hands what do you think the value would be.
If you do a good job restoring it, at least $5k USD including the 1039 bracelet assuming the end links are correct.

but if you don’t want to keep it, I think you’d be better off selling it for parts instead of getting into an uncertain restoration.

As you're quoting prices in £ I assume you're in the UK.

I'd strongly suggest going to Swiss Time Services. I've sent them a watch in parts similar to yours and they sent me back a lovely working watch a month later.

The hands seem extremely worn, and will need replacement.

Are you starting a second thread to ask the exact same question about the same watch? That’s not normally done on the forum.

Would it be better to keep the bracelet or sell it. Does it add much value ?. Does anyone know the value of the watch up and running

If he likes the look of his dial, I'd definitely recommend he gets it serviced, pops on some service hands, maybe gets a pro to apply some less white paint and colored lum and enjoy it. I saw no mention of the straight writing back, so this one with the bracelet, nice bezel (and that bezel is going to be shooting up in value next) straight writing back is a nice watch to keep and wear. He will never lose a dime. I'd keep an eye out for a nice original dial to maybe put on someday. There were a zillion 1969 watches made. That's a rough estimate. Enjoy it and the process of bringing it back.
Hi thanks for the information, what makes the bezel important on this one. Also is the dial not original?. Thanks again
