Help please, is this genuine

Hello everyone
I’m thinking of buying this watch. Does anyone know what model it is or if it’s genuine or not. It’s marked on the back “de ville” with “quartz” underneath the words. Any comments would be gratefully received

Genuine, most likely yes, exciting, not really.

A late 1980s quartz model. Not one to excite the collectors on here I would think. Very thin apparently. Seemingly worth a couple of hundred.

It's not so much the design that's boring as it is the quartz movement.
