HELP ON THIS SWISS ONLY 1950/60s?

ANY INFORMATION ON THIS WATCH WOULD HELP! Grandfather used to wear it before he passed away and gave it to my mother and we know nothing about it. 14k on band and believe watch casing

It’s called a Pie Pan Constellation.

what exactly do you want to know? Is the watxh gold?

It’s likely a ref 2852 cross hair dome dial Constellation with Arabic numbers at the quarters.

From the late 50s

If you can safely open the back:
The reference information is inside the snap back case.
The movement info is on the movement

Gold capped case ( a thick layer of gold applied to a steel shell. )

It would be useful if you could take a sharp picture of the dial with the hands away from the text.

Yes it’s 14 k yellow gold
Not solid. Gold capped with a 14K gold medallion.

Dial is much better than I expected. “Swiss” on the dial with this model usually means a U.S. market watch.

Yes, I was wondering why it only had a Swiss marking on it alone. Unfortunately have to figure out why the second hand won’t work always

Yes, but the collective here is not a free appraisal and/or authentication service for flippers.

My grandfathers never had a watch that nice to pass on to us.
