·Hey guys,
I was looking online and came across what seems to be a wonderful Omega vintage watch that caught my eye the second I saw it (I'll add photos below). I'm reaching out and was wondering if anyone could share their expertise on finding out if this watch is real or not. From what I can tell, it seems to be real; however, some things seem off:
If anyone could help, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
I was looking online and came across what seems to be a wonderful Omega vintage watch that caught my eye the second I saw it (I'll add photos below). I'm reaching out and was wondering if anyone could share their expertise on finding out if this watch is real or not. From what I can tell, it seems to be real; however, some things seem off:
- Is listed as an Omega reference 2639; however, the inside of the caseback states the numbers 2487-3
- The Omega logo looks more skinny and wider than what I think is real (Says online that Omega has had many variations of the logo, so it could still be real)
- Dealer says that it has been serviced, but doesn't have any results to back it up
- Also says that he "doesn't think" that the dial has been restored
- Is a private dealer from Italy
If anyone could help, that would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
